Marketing Executive

LI wants to hire an executive with ambitions to be part of a dynamic marketing team:

Responsibilities:

Tasks Activities
Marketing Communica-tions
  • Writing and translating programme highlights, press releases and synopses in the respective languages.
  • Independently monitor the deadlines and process flow with the graphic design team for all marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers etc).
  • Monitor conceptualization and deployment of BTL creative materials with the designers. Make adaptations internally as/when necessary.
Public Relations
  • Work hand-in-hand with the PR agencies around Asia for media requests, personality interviews and publicity.
  • Follow up quickly to requests from media around Asia and build good relationships with them: trade, print, broadcast, online, etc.
  • Assist in up-keeping LI TV ASIA's website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts with the latest lifestyle updates and relevant content.
Affiliate Marketing
  • To be the day-to-day contact point for requests for photos, EPGs, schedules, programme highlights, videos, creative artwork, etc.
  • nsure quick follow up and coordinating daily requests from affiliates.
  • Assist with Sales Training sessions with the broadcast affiliates around Asia – Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
  • Facilitate and monitor delivery of merchandise and materials to affiliates.
Business Development/ Ad Sales
  • Assist to identify key lifestyle partners around Asia for strategic relationships.
  • Assist the Ad Sales department in brainstorming for creative solutions.
  • ssist in creating and presenting dynamic and effective presentations.
Event Management
  • To monitor event set ups and assist the event management team in ensuring smooth flow of the event.
Misc.
  • Obtain quotations from various vendors/suppliers such as merchandise production, printers and courier companies.
  • Monitoring deadlines to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • General administrative tasks, as and when required.
    Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years marketing/public relations experience, a background in TV is a plus.
  • A degree in Broadcasting/Mass Communications/Marketing/relevant related fields.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is of utmost importance.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work independently, under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Solid presentation and communication skills to wow everyone.
  • Full knowledge of graphic design software for adaptation of creative materials a big plus.
  • Loves working hard and playing harder.
  • Possesses a global outlook, loves watching lifestyle TV shows, good food, beautiful homes, wellness treats, travel adventures and all things stylish!

Internship (Kuala Lumpur)

    Responsibilities:
  • Basic writing of scripts and programme highlights
  • Basic scheduling
  • Market and competitor research
  • Basic pre-production
  • Drafting briefs for promo production
  • Administrative support to the Content and Marketing team

  • Passion for television broadcasting and all-things lifestyle
  • Good Microsoft Office, organizational and telephone skills
