Jillian Michaels: Workout Series

Jillian Michaels is one of the trainers for The Biggest Loser and The Biggest Loser Australia, training seven out of the eight winners of the show.
She uses a blend of strength training techniques including kickboxing, yoga, pilates, plyometrics and weight training. Her martial arts background includes intensive training of Akarui-Do and Muay Thai.
These techniques combat different problem areas of the body and burn mega calories and fat, coupled with her exclusive 3-2-1 interval systems with different intensity for differing levels of fitness.
Her workouts aim to ignite metabolism, target trouble zones and incinerate fat to build strong lean muscle. Say goodbye to saddlebags, muffin tops and wobbly arms with her heart-pounding, circuit workouts.
As an overweight teen, she enrolled in a martial arts class which led her to put physical awareness at the forefront to her life. She is now a celebrity advisor to National Day of Dance for Heart Health, an author, a radio talk show host, and has several DVDs, a game and a reality show under her belt.
