From model, to TV host and now a PR Manager of a design college, David Yee has transitioned effortlessly into each role over the years, thanks to his spirit and passion for style and everything design-related.

An Australian native of mixed heritage, Yee embarked on a successful modelling career in Sydney in his early twenties. He moved to Singapore under the encouragement of a Singaporean model agency to explore the city's many opportunities where his Pan-Asian look would be highly sought.

Yee's move to Singapore saw him in major ad campaigns that spanned from Singtel to Mastercard. His friendly demeanour and great sense of humour also caught the attention of the local TV station that picked him to host Showbuzz, an entertainment programme , for two years.

Yee chalked up the frequent flyer miles attending major movie premiers in Hollywood. He has interviewed major players such as George Clooney, Jodie Foster, Pierce Brosnan, and Leonardo Di Caprio, to name a few.

Yee is now based in Kuala Lumpur as PR Manager to a design college, which sees him promoting an institution that churns out some of Malaysia's best design talents. Fashion design, interior design, graphic design – these are subjects that Yee is passionate about. While his day job keeps him busy, the multi-tasker has not shied away from the spotlight completely, as offers to host events and to star in commercials continue his way.

His most recent feather in the cap is playing father to his three daughters.
